NEW BERLIN – Alice Kay Bowman, 75, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Decatur on November 13, 1948, to William and Dorothy (Ransford) Martin. She married David Bowman and he survives.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Brandi Bowman; grandson, Collin Bowman; granddaughter, Isabella Bowman; and great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Bowman.

She was preceded in passing by her step-son, John Bowman.

Alice graduated from SIU Carbondale. She was a CNA and previously employed by Memorial Medical Center and Vono
