We are saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected death of our dearest Angela. She passed on December 3, 2021, due to a housefire in Lincoln.

She was born July 9, 1980, in Springfield to Dennis and Shirley (McKinley) Mangalavite, and they survive.

Angela attended Girard schools and LLCC Nursing Program and graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was very knowledgeable in the career choice she made. She lived life to it's fullest and never met a stranger. In her short 41 years she accomplished many things that others older than her only dreamed about.

Surviving are two daughters, Aleijah Madysen West and Aivah Sofia Butcher; siblings, Adrianna and Arianna Trader, Shawn Pierce, Geraldine Mangalavite, Amanda (Tom) Prokop, Blake Mangalavite and Alisha (Adam) Fickas; grandson, Mayson Michael Rae West; step-mother, Bonnie Mangalavite; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death are her sister, Michele Rae Pierce; step-father, George Trader; and all grandparents.

The family is accepting donations to put her to rest like she deserves to be. Please send donations to Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home for Angela Mangalavite. There will be services announced at a later time with her being laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park with her sister, Michele Rae Pierce, per her wishes.
