SPRINGFIELD, IL – Anna May Nunes-Handley, 91, died Monday, December 21, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born November 28, 1929, to Manuel J. and Velma (Colburn) Nunes. She married Alric Handley, Jr. on May 4, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alric; sister, Ruth Ann; brothers, Manuel and Frank; and nephew, Marc.

Her family was her life and brought her much happiness. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie (James); grandson, Joshua; great-granddaughter, Kendra; daughter, Linda (David); granddaughter, Madison (James); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Zoom memorial service will be held Monday, December 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.  Friends and family are invited to attend the service using the following information.
