SPRINGFIELD – Anthony "Tony" Michael Carroll, 40, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

He was born July 30, 1984 in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Phyllis Carroll; niece, Adaleigha Standage; and brother, Aisiaha Roby.

Tony was employed by Midwest Smokehouse. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, axe throwing, camping and hiking. He loved spending time with his children, especially flying kites.

He is survived by his fiancé, Gracie Patrick; daughters, Haylee Carroll, Willow Carroll and Violet Patrick; mother, Shelley (Marvin) Roby; maternal grandparents, Betty and Harold Lame; sisters, Heather Whitmore and Ashley Whitmore; brothers, Andy Whitmore, Joey Carroll and Jodeci Roby; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. until a time of sharing at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of Anthony Carroll for the benefit of his children.
