SPRINGFIELD, IL – Anthony Albert "Tony" Casper, 63, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his home.

He was born January 3, 1958, to Albert and Lila (Good) Casper. He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Sandie Wilson; nephew, Brandon Casper; step-father, Dale Johnson; and his beloved dog, Barkly.

Tony was formerly employed by the State of Illinois. He also umpired Fairview Little League for many years.

He is survived by his mother, Lila Johnson; daughter, Carly Jane Casper and her mother, Carrie Casper; sister, Jean Ann (Al) Fitts; brothers, Tim (Joan) Casper and Brad (Deborah) Casper; brother-in-law, Scott Wilson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
