SPRINGFIELD, IL – Barbara Jean Davis, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at her home.

She was born April 4, 1945, to Kenneth and Dorothy (Rodems) Blankenship.  She married Howard "Bill" Davis in Springfield on February 8, 1964.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Donna J. Davis Bailey of Orange, Texas.

Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of AMVETS Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, throwing horseshoes and shuffle board.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ricky (Janice) Davis of Orange, Texas, Teresa K. (Ron) Bisby of Springfield, Deborah M. (Bruno) Casson of New Berlin and Jo Ann (Russ) Davis of Riverton; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth L. Blankenship.

Graveside Service:  1:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Gifford officiating.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the graveside service at the VFW Post 10302, 2349 Stockyard Road in Springfield.
