SPRINGFIELD, IL – Barbara J. Fox, 86, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at her home.

She was born August 30, 1935, to Reesor Lyman and Evelyn F. (Pyle) Farley, both of whom preceded her in passing. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Doug and Lyman; sisters, Judy, Betty Lou and Peggy; and sons-in-law, Robbie Bollinger and John Ferguson; and sister-in-law, Brenda Farley.

Barbara retired from Solomon Colors after 32 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Barbara) Fox; daughters, Debra Ferguson, Jerri Bollinger and Tracy Marsh; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Farley; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Reverend Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
