LOAMI – Betty L. Hubbard, 86, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her home.

She was born January 20, 1939 to Sherman and Minnie (Fredericks) Hurst.  She married James Hubbard on August 26, 1956 in Fairfield Township, OH.  He preceded her in death.  She was also preceded by her daughter, Janet Lynn Ball; grandchildren, Mikey Hubbard and Christopher Ball; great-grandchild, Shon Walker; and sister, Janet Spivey.

Betty loved her family.

She is survived by her children, Mike Hubbard, Joann Shepherd (Greg), Mitch Hubbard (Jeanie) and Shelley Lehman (Chris); 12 grandchildren, Christina Shepherd, Shawn Shepherd (Candice), Jennifer Barefield, Ashley Baker, Melissa Hubbard (Wes), Jesse Hubbard (Erika), Kaylan Pearson (Justin), Dylan Lehman, Kristyn Tyhurst (Chris), Jason Hubbard, Erica Woods (Brentley) and Kyle Hurta; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, James Hurst (Deania).

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.  Pastor Larry Hanson will officiate.
