Obituary

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Beverly P. (Reynolds) Power, 80, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at Heritage Health.

She was born in Farmersville on August 2, 1939, to William Frank and Grace Faye (Morris) Reynolds.

Beverly attended Chatham Schools and Lincoln Land Community College. She worked for the State of Illinois, several area restaurants and cooked for American Auctions. She loved people, having fun and her friends. She enjoyed auctions and flea markets. She liked being mischievous and loved to drink margaritas and smoke cigarettes with her friends. She loved God and righteousness. She was blessed with five children, one of whom had special needs that she cared for 50 years.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Nikki) Neal, Janelle Neal, Patricia "Patty" Neal, John "Todd" Kasper and Sean T. Kasper; eight grandchildren, Tyler Neal McIlroy (deceased), Adam Neal, Joe Neal, Zachary Griffin; Tabitha Griffin, Trey Kasper, Kyle Kasper and Korey Kasper; 4 great-grandchildren, Michaela, Zahariyah, Joshua and Amaya; brother, Frank Reynolds; sister, Velma "Billy" Jeff; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2020, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
