OCALA, FL – Carol Ann (Provines) Neal, 77, formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

She was born February 1, 1945, to Byron and Birdie Idell (Ramey) Provines. She married James E. Neal on May 27, 1994, in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Angela Kessinger; father, Byron Provines, mother, Birdie Idell Marconi; step-father, Dante Marconi; brother, Bill Provines; and sister, Marge Devey.

Carol retired from Memorial Medical Center after 12 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, James; children, Kenneth Kessinger, Paul (Nancy) Lore, Dante Wynne (Jody), and Denice Hubbs (Walt); twenty grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, John Provines, Michael (Beverly) Provines and Steve Urnowey (Lois); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 until the time of a funeral service at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Reverend Richard Sullivan officiating. Private inurnment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
