SPRINGFIELD – Carol Lynn Reed, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 11, 1961, to Francis and Margie (McCabe) Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Woods and Margie Klossing; and aunt, Londa McCabe.

Carol attended West Side Christian Church. She loved to fish and was the biggest gamer. She enjoyed video games, board games and card games.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Raymond, Shintae Reed, Shauntel Burzynski and Michael Wilson; several grandchildren including Deonte Farris, Keonte Sampson, McKenzie Raymond, Landon Raymond, Gabriella Morgan, Journee Mitchell, Amaria Mitchell and Layla Mitchell; siblings, Cynthia Smith, Leslie Woods and Kirk Woods; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 3 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at West Side Christian Church.
