SPRINGFIELD, IL – Carolyn Miller, 85, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born December 23, 1935, to Frank and Evelyn (Davis) Bregant. She married Bill Miller on February 6, 1981. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; sons, Robbie Bregant, Jeff Maroney and Donny Maroney; daughter, Mary Jo Maroney; and brothers, Richard and Mike Bregant.

Carolyn lived and worked in Springfield for many years before moving to Arizona. She continued her career for twenty years and later retired and returned to live in Springfield. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She attended Faith Outreach Christian Center.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannie (Steve) Koskey, Jeanette (Pat) Riley and Becky (Chuck) Young; daughters-in-law, Marilyn Kirchgesner and Tammy Maroney; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Moreland; sister-in-law, Pat Bregant; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Faith Outreach Christian Center, 6800 Bahr Road, Sherman, Illinois, with Pastor Paul Ayappa officiating. Private inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
