Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Kevin Rogers announces his passing after battling an illness, on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the age of 57 years. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Orawan and stepdaughter, Aphinya of Thailand; his parents, Buddy and Beverly Rogers of Chatham, IL; his previous wife, Robyn (Crombar) Rogers and son, Brayden Rogers both of Murphysboro, IL; his daughter, Madyson Rogers of Carbondale, IL; brothers, Gavin and wife, Lori of Pierce, CO; Darin, wife, Janelle and their children, Jack and Ella of Springfield, IL; and many friends and colleagues from around the world.

Kevin was born July 31st 1960 in Christopher, IL.  He graduated from Carbondale Community High School in 1978. Kevin worked as a sheet metal worker and welder for many years. He was an artist; designing and manufacturing ADEEOS watch straps for Panerai watches. In his free time he enjoyed working on automobiles, playing pool, and having a cold Corona with friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Evergreen Terrace Park in the Red Oak Pavillion at 1205 W. Pleasant Hill Rd. Carbondale, IL. 62901, with Pastor Milton Bost officiating. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m., at Pinch Penny Pub at 700 East Grand Ave in Carbondale, IL in the outdoor garden.  A block of rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn at 2300 Reed Station Parkway Carbondale, Il. 62901, Phone (618) 549-2600.  The rooms will be held for the18th and 19th of May and will be available to reserve up until May 1st.
