SPAULDING – Cheryl Lynn Gurley, 68, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at her home.

She was born November 5, 1954 to George Adrian and Thelma Mae (Misner) Pribble.

Known by her classmates as Cheryl Pribble and known by her colleagues as CL Gurley, she dedicated 38 years to her career in medical service. She joined her family in the heavens a day after her 45th marriage anniversary to Don Gurley. Known by her family as Mom and Memaw, she will be remembered for her laughter, stubbornness and compassionate nature. She loved talking to people whether in line at the gas station or a store.

She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Joseph Gurley, Elisha Gurley and Rhiannon Gurley; and grandchild, Miracle Watson Gurley.

Private family services will be held.
