SPRINGFIELD - Cindy S. Gantt, 70, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1954, to George and Marilyn (Price) Nicks. She married Rick J. Gantt in 1972, in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Gary Leach; brothers, George and Tony Nicks; and nephews, Steve and Jackie Wake.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Rick; son, Rick Gantt; daughter, Jennifer Gordon (Joe); grandchildren, Elizabeth Lowe, Andrew Gantt and Abby Poos; siblings, Sharon (Ray) Wake, Debbie (Jack) Wake, and John (Pam) Nicks; sisters-in-law, Pat Jones and Teri Tueth; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Cindy's wishes, no services are planned.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
