SPRINGFIELD, IL – Coady J. Pickford, 27, passed away December 20, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Springfield on August 8, 1994. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Zachary Pickford and grandparents, Dean and Shirley McGrew.

Coady loved hands-on work, especially if it involved helping others and would give you the shirt off of his back. He cherished the time he spent with his son, Adam.

He is survived by his son, Adam; mother, Christina Esper (John Hankins); brothers, Austin Pickford and Collin Pickford; and nephew, Corbin Pickford.

The family will greet friends from 4:30 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 6 p.m.Wednesday, January 12, 202 1 , at West Side Christian Church, 2850 Cider Mill Ln. Springfield, IL 62702
