SPRINGFIELD – Dale R. Cisco, 89, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born April 3, 1936 to Jesse and Rosa (Russell) Cisco. He married Beverly Miller on May 17, 1957, at West Side Christian Church; she preceded him in death on August 23, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Richard Cisco; brothers, Donald, Ronald and William Cisco; and sister, Jacqueline Stade.

Dale retired form Bunn-o-Matic in 1998 after 35+ years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially in tournaments at Bull Shulls Lake in Arkansas. He loved to tinker and could repair and build about anything and had built a log cabin and his most recent home with Beverly. Dale was an avid Fighting Illini and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He especially loved spending time with his loyal dog, Buddy Boy, who was rarely far from his side.

He is survived by his sons, Dale "Rick" (Jean) Cisco and Duane (Carol) Cisco; 14 grandchildren, Rebecca Cisco, Collin Cisco, Belinda (Jimmy) Kloss, David Vice, Jodie (Rob) Lloyd, Leslie Vice, Angela (Jeremy) Sidener, Ramael Cisco, Josh (Amanda) Cisco, Charles Cisco, Lindsey Cisco, Jordin Cisco, Jamie (Peter) Christenson and Amber Schmitt,; several great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Russell (Sylvia) Cisco; sisters, Geraldine Hamilton and Anna (Everett) Langley; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
