SPRINGFIELD – Dallas A. Rowden, 45, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023.

Dallas was born July 27, 1978 to Earl J. and Gail M. (Houlihan) Rowden.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandmothers, Alice L. Houlihan and Dorothy Rowden; aunt, Joyce I. Houlihan; and uncle and aunt, Charles and JoAnn Rowden.

Dallas enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Bears, Cubs and Bulls.

He is survived by his mother, Gail; brother, Wyatt; nephew, Killian; niece, Piper all of Springfield; uncle, John F. (Anna) Houlihan of Pennsylvania; and a large number of cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Southern View Chapel, 4500 S. 2nd Street, with Pastor Gary Gilley officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Southern View Chapel or American Heart Association.
