SPRINGFIELD, IL – Daniel M. Daubach, 53, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at his home.

He was born March 5, 1965, to Hubert and Helen (Speakman) Daubach, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; nephew, Trey Daubach; brother-in-law, John Layendecker; and dogs, Otis and Banjo.

Dan was formerly employed by Oratech and Dental Arts and currently employed with Ramada by Wyndham, Springfield North and Pampered Pets. He loved his family and enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews grow. He loved working, especially at the hotel. He enjoyed spending time with friends and loved animals.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Daubach; sister, Sherri Layendecker; brothers, Terry Hinton, Mike (Kathleen) Hinton and Guy Daubach (Martie Vincent); nieces and nephews, Sean (Megan) Layendecker, Tracy (Jeff) Tamborrino, Daniel and David Hinton, and Neil (Mandy), Leif (Kelly) and Sarah Daubach; great-nieces and great-nephews, Michaela, Kynleigh, Hunter, Anna, Gavin, Ava, Jasmine, Julia, Trey Jr., Journey, Logan, Ty and Koen.

Memorial Gathering and Service: 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Bilyeu officiating.
