Daryl W. Williams, Sr. "The License Plate Man", 79, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at his home.

He was born August 25, 1943, to Howard W. and Mildred A. (Stone) Williams.

Daryl retired from IDOT after 35 years of service. He was a former precinct committeeman. He was an antique license plate collector and a member of ALPCA and Mid-America License Plate Association.

He is survived by his son, Daryl W. (Terri) Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Jordyn, Jenifer, Jessika and Jarod; great-grandchildren, Emma Rose and Easton Jude; and brother, Richard D. (Glenda) Williams.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Waltrip officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
