Dawayne H. Davis, 35, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on September 2, 2025. Born on October 9, 1990, in Springfield to Tammy S. Davis, Dawayne was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend.
He had a passion for spending time with his family, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by his loved ones. Whether fishing, training in M.M.A. fighting, or simply sharing quiet moments, Dawayne made every moment count. His zest for life and his kind heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Dawayne is survived by his beloved wife, Angela (Peck) Davis, and their three daughters, Haylei (12), Jayde (7), and Harper (5), all of whom were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Tammy S. Davis; brother, Brandon Davis; sister, Jazzlynn Davis; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Janet Davis, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
A celebration of Dawayne's life, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory will be announced at a later date.
Dawayne's love for his family, his adventurous spirit, and his unforgettable presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
