Deborah K. (Stanley) Stubbs, 57, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at her home.

She was born in Springfield on June 2, 1968, the daughter of Walter R. and Linda K. (Scheina) Stanley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda K. Stanley, and her oldest daughter, Jordyn Coonrod.

Debbie is survived by her father, Walter Stanley of Springfield; sister, Sherry (Alex) Miller of Riverton; daughter, Kalli (Isaiah Cooper) Stubbs of Springfield; and two granddaughters, Layla Myers and Sloane Cooper, both of Springfield.

Debbie graduated from Lanphier High School with the class of 1986.  Debbie was employed at several places including the Illinois Petroleum Marketers Association and Hobbs Corporation.

Cremation services will be provided by Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with a small family service planned at a later date.
