CHATHAM – Deborah F. Tury, 54, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born July 28, 1969, to Sandra F. Ater, who preceded her in passing.

Deborah was a 1987 graduate of Lanphier High School. She was formerly employed by Cracker Barrel, the US Postal Service and Concordia Village. She adored her dogs, Buck and Bailey. Deborah's greatest joy in life was her two sons.

She is survived by her sons, Andrew Ater and Dylan Ater.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of a service at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Private burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Deborah Tury family c/o Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
