Debra J. Ginger, 68, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1954 to George and Helen (Maser) Ezop. She married Charles Ginger on February 14, 2000, in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancee Millburg.

Debra enjoyed reading, traveling and watching HGTV. She especially loved her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, David Caillier and Rachael Caillier; step-son, Matthew, Joshua and Luke Ginger; grandchildren, Anika and Macy; cat, Mischief; and dog, Leah.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Reverend Mark Gifford officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ginger family to assist with funeral expenses.
