SPRINGFIELD, IL – Delbert E. "Sonny" Sigmon, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born June 8, 1940, to Delbert C. and Mary Sigmon. He married Phyllis Morey in November 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sons, Timothy and Daniel; and step-brother, Bob.

Sonny worked at numerous movie theatres in Springfield, most recently the Route 66 Drive-In. He was also a driver for Emery Courier Service. He was an avid movie collector and enjoyed going to the riverboat.

He is survived by his son, Roger Sigmon; sister, Diane Hedegus; and several nieces and nephews.
