WAGGONER – Delorise Jean Dyer, 80, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 12, 1943. She married Donald Dyer on April 5, 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peewee and Doris Branham and Archie Meisenheimer; great-granddaughter, Hazlee Wolfe; and brothers, Derald Meisenheimer and Larry Branham.

Delorise retired from Auburn Elementary School. She loved her birds and gardening. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her number one priority.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Tonya Dyer, Vickie Dyer, Patty Ray, William Dyer and Cindy Dyer; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Dodson and Terry Clardy; brothers, Dale, Jim and David Meisenheimer; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
