SPRINGFIELD, IL – Dennis C. Coy, Sr., 74, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. John's Hospital.
He was born September 1, 1943, to Lyle and Betty (Berimbaum) Coy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; brother, Walter; and sister, Donna Fletcher.
Dennis was the owner of D. Coy Fencing and Coy Garden Center.
He is survived by his children, Dennis C. (Lisa) Coy, Jr., Billie (Terry, deceased) Pencek, Veronica (Kelly) Gillette, and Tammie (Steve, deceased) Rockford; stepchildren, Tom (Christie) Weiss, Sherrie (Dane) Cookson, Francis (Debbie, deceased) Cunningham, Suzanne (Steve) Morris, Brett (Debi) Cunningham; several grandchildren; brothers, Steve (Connie) and Tom Coy; several nieces and nephews.
