SPRINGFIELD – Diana Beatrice Wright, 77, died Saturday, March 1, 2025.

She was born September 19, 1947, to William F. and Florence Lorraine (Sanders) Young.

Baptized on August 1, 1963, Diana proudly and faithfully served 61.5 years as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a Regular Pioneer for 13 years beginning on March 1, 2012.

Diana was the night and weekend coordinator for Interim Healthcare for many years. During that time she was also a licensed home daycare provider from which she retired in November 2006. Diana's pride and joy were all her grandchildren and her four great-grandbabies. She spent most of her days sharing the Kingdom message with others. In her spare time, she enjoyed game shows and doing word searches.

She is survived by her children, Kirtman (Beth) Wright, William (Leah) Wright, Marlina (Troy) Kellum and Jeanna (Travis) Kelley; 12 grandchildren, Trina, Talon, Faythe, Noah, Hoape, Jonah, Greyse, Joeigh, Matthias, Hudson, Zekinn and Nevaehinn; 4 great-grandchildren, Brextinn, Magnolia, Griffin and Remmington; brother, Gary (Nancy) Potter; sister, Laura (John) Lonergan; and several nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3076 Normandy Road, Springfield, IL 62703
