Diane D. Ingalsbe, 68, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Decatur on October 14, 1955, to Lyle and Marjorie (Priddy) Doom; both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sara Inman; brother, David Doom; and parents-in-law, Richard and Lillie Mae Ingalsbe.

Diane married Timothy Ingalsbe on October 15, 1977, in Lincoln.

Diane was a music teacher and the former owner/operator of Classic Piano Praise Studio. She was a member of West Side Christian Church. Diane was an amazing wife, wonderful mother and a proud nana to her grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy; daughter, Laura Beth (Danny) Hicks; son-in-law, Will Inman; grandson, Jacob Inman; brother, Robert Doom; sister, Elaine (Roy) Logsdon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024, at West Side Christian Church, 2850 Cider Mill Lane, Springfield.  A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 5 p.m. Her family has requested that attendees please wear bright colors to honor her life.
