SPRINGFIELD – Dianne J. DeRosa, 78, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 2, 1944 to Charles and Mary (Lipcaman) McClelland. She married Richard "Dick" DeRosa on October 18, 1964, in Mt. Sterling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick and brother, Danny McClelland.

Dianne was formerly employed by the State of Illinois and later co-owned Mar-Vista Homes with her husband. She was a member of Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, camping and traveling. She loved going out to eat and trying new restaurants.

She is survived by her children, Christel DeRosa and Todd (Andrea) DeRosa; grandchildren, Ashley, Angela, Mikayle and Rilyn; brother, Charles Lloyd McClelland; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
