Donna L. Farmer, 76, of Tracy, CA and Girard, IL passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born December 5, 1948 to Donald and Elena (Deering) Marr.  She married Gary Farmer on June 5, 1976 in St. Helena, CA.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Marr.

Donna was a physical education teacher and coach for the Contra Costa County School District.  She retired after 37 years of service and substitute taught for another 11 years.  She was a member of Tracy Moose Lodge L.O.O.M. 2283 and loved traveling, sight-seeing, sports, reading, playing cards, and wine and fine dining.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Jason Farmer, Joshua Farmer and Devon (Rodney) Frey; 8 grandchildren, J.J., Caiden, Alexandra, Jaxson, Dillon, Preston, Alana, and Jenna;  nieces, Ashley and Eva; nephew, Jessie; and aunt, Ren Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Oak Hills Country Club in Girard.

A Celebration of Life in Tracy, CA will be announced at a later date.
