SPRINGFIELD – Donna L. Ragsdale, 83, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Decatur on July 24, 1941, to Don and Georgia "Maggie" (Austin) Hazenfield. She married Thomas R. Ragsdale and he preceded her in death in 1980. Her parents; stepmother, Betty; stepfather, Howard; grandmother, Effie; and step-son, Tommy Ragsdale also preceded her in death.

Donna was the owner of CCB Credit Services, Inc. for over 50 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Rochester Women's Club, American Collectors Association and Illinois Collectors Association. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping and traveling, especially to Florida with her best friend, Mary.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Ragsdale (John Lee); grandchildren, Taylor (Jon) Graves and Adam Krech; step-son, Michael (Carolyn) Ragsdale; step-grandchildren; half-brother, Jim (Jody) Hazenfield; half-sister, Ellen (Tom) Mann; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Donna's request, no services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Animal Protective League.
