VENICE, FL – Dorothy Marie McMasters, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Arcadia Care in Auburn.

She was born August 9, 1951, to Joseph M. and Ann M. (Bresan) Oliver, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Edward L. McMasters in 1973, in Springfield.

Dorothy retired from the Illinois Department of Public Health. She loved her grandchildren immensely. Upon becoming a grandmother, her moments of greatest joy were simply watching her grandchildren grow, play, laugh and love.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; sons, Darren (Tracy) McMasters and Hank McMasters; grandchildren, Peyton, Nolan and Rylan McMasters; brother, Todd Oliver; and sister, JoAnn Waldrop.
