SPRINGFIELD, IL – Edith G. Osborne, 86, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her home.

She was born January 11, 1932, to Lester and Lillian (Dickson) Koontz. She married Robert B. Osborne on December 9, 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters and a brother.

Edith was formerly employed by Bunn-o-matic for nine years. She enjoyed playing BINGO, fishing, camping and doing crafts.

She is survived by her children, Bernice (Harold) Graham, Barbara (Russell) Williams and Robert B. Osborne, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Inez Burris; sisters-in-law, Margaret Koontz and Clara Osborne; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
