Obituary

SHERMAN, IL – Edward Adam Niccolls, 82, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born November 3, 1938, to Roscoe A. and Esther G. Niccolls. He married Bonnie Tobias on January 25, 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Niccolls; and sisters, Helen Nicols, Marjorie Bernahl and Ruth Hashman.

Ed was a US Army veteran. He worked for his father at Niccolls' Stone, as a brick mason and later as a computer programmer. He was a member of Williamsville Christian Church and was raised to a Master Mason in 1960, and President of the Masonic Classic Car Club. Ed volunteered at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. He loved his family, traveling, Cardinal baseball, Abraham Lincoln and Civil War history.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Rich (Traci) Niccolls and Ryan Niccolls; daughter, Diane Brewer; step-son, Barry (Shaun) Tobias; step-daughters, Patsy (Gary) Klekamp and Michelle (Rick) Bahr; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia (Edward) Schmidt and Linda (Carl) Raddatz; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside family services will be held later.
