SPRINGFIELD, IL – Elizabeth A. Casper, 83, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at her home.

She was born July 27, 1936, to Harold and Margaret (Hernandez) Candage. She married Joseph Casper on June 20, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, David Candage; and son, Steven Casper.

Elizabeth retired from Franklin Life. She was a member of Christ the King Church and Special Olympics coach.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Casper; daughter-in-law, Robin Casper; brother, John (Blanche) Candage; sister, Connie Candage; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Allen Hickerson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
