SHERMAN, IL – Elizabeth Saner, 90, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Villa Health Care East.

She was born September 25, 1931, to Louis and Cordelia (Caldwell) Fayart. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Warren Fayart; sister, Josephine Wierich; great-grandson, Elliott Terry and son-in-law, Robert F. Graves.

Elizabeth was a teacher and a substitute teacher in District 186. She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a member of King's Daughters. She enjoyed reading and loved her family, her pets and her students.

She is survived by her children, Susan (David) Hampton, Julia C. Graves and David (Teresa) Saner; ten grandsons and several great-grandchildren, whom loved her dearly; half-sister, Louise Roon; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Busboom officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
