SPRINGFIELD – Ember Soul Dent, infant daughter of Javion and Madysen Dent earned her angel wings on Friday, July 26, 2024.

She was born in Springfield on February 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Jeffery Dent; great-grandma, Essie Braylock; and many other extended family members.

Ember loved trying new foods, snuggling and being swaddled, sitting in her bouncer and playing with her toys, especially her stuffed jellyfish. Although she could not talk she loved to communicate by babbling and blowing raspberries. She was sassy and would let you know when she was not happy. She was active and could move herself everywhere by scooting and rolling.

She is survived by her parents, Javion and Madysen; big sister, Evonya; grandparents, Katrina Dent, Melissa (Steve) LeMasters and Steve Smetzer; great-grandparents, Ron and Cindy Davis, Brenda Martin and James Dent; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
