AUBURN, IL – Eva Mae Moats, 86, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 26, 1934, to Harry and Irene (Horn) Moats, both of whom preceded her in death.

Eva Mae retired from Springfield College in Illinois. She was a member of Rolling Prairie Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, baking, doing needlepoint, being outside and flower gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Reynolds, Steve (Julie) Reynolds and Shawn (Christine) Reynolds; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Nicholas, Quinn, Benton, Matthew, Elise and Hannah; 15 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Madison, Peyton, Trinity, Oliver, Teagan, Trevor, Peyton, Noah, Dominic, Daisy, Ella, Nova and Wyatt; sisters, Muriel (John) Hibbs and Marilyn (Edward) Welsh; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Mark Estrop officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

CDC guidelines will be followed. Social distancing and masks will be required. Attendance is limited to 50 people at a time.
