Evelyn R. Forsyth, 87, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away January 3, 2026.

Born in 1938, Evelyn was a loving mother to two daughters and a devoted grandmother to two granddaughters. Family was at the center of her life, and she will be remembered for her care, warmth, and dedication to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Abe; daughters Kathy and Barbara; her granddaughters; and her sister, Mary Jo.

In accordance with Evelyn's wishes, no services will be held.
