DAWSON, IL – Faymel I. Booth, 62, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her home.

She was born March 15, 1955, to Leon and Donna (Drake) Priddy. She married Rick Booth on June 24, 1978, in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald Priddy.

Faymel retired from the State of Illinois DCFS Office of Legislative Affairs. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; children, Donell (Shane) Basden, Jesse Booth and Jarred Booth; grandchildren, Colton and Leonna; brothers, Carl (Elizabeth) and Ron Priddy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: 4:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the First Church of God.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at the First Church of God with Pastor Jay Kroft officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
