SPRINGFIELD, IL – Gary L. Bramblett, 64, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021, at his home.

He was born October 3, 1957, to Glen E. "Ike" and Shirley (Black) Bramblett. He married Cynthia Kaylor on February 6, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gary William "Billy" Bramblett.

Gary was a US Army Veteran. He was employed by Hummer Trucking. He was previously employed with Long Elevator and Gully's Trucking. He was a member of Elliott Avenue Baptist Church. Gary enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren; they were the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Melissa "Missy" Bramblett (Nate), Steven "Bobby" Bramblett (Christina), Mary Rose "Rosie" Bramblett, Bryan Kaylor (Cathy) and Jamie Kaylor (Heather); grandchildren, Cody, Bryton, Riley, Jayden, Greyson, Ayden, Lauren and Stephanie; siblings, Mike Bramblett, Kevin Bramblett (Laurie), Linda Guffey, Lori Zepp (Steve) and Jody Prytherch (John); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Hicks officiating.
