SPRINGFIELD, IL – Gary F. Kroeschel, Sr., 76, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born July 31, 1944, to Pearl and Bertha (Booth) Kroeschel.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth and Bill Kroeschel; nephew, Thomas Kroeschel; and best friend, Roger Morrison.

Gary was a 1963 graduate of Jerseyville High School. He worked at a salesman for 18 years Macoupin County FS. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Gary (Tanya) Kroeschel, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Garrett and Grace; sister, Linda Vogt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park
