On July 5th, 2018, Glenell Blair was called home to glory. Glenell was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Charles Childress, Sr. and Manell Mitchell on November 20, 1946. She graduated from East St. Louis Senior High in 1965.

She was a nurse, devoted wife, mother and child of God. She is survived by two sons, Jim and John; two brothers, Charles Jr. and Jack; 6 grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She will be missed and beloved by everyone she touched.
