SPRINGFIELD, IL – Gloria Jean Butler, 81, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born May 2, 1941, to Edward and Helen Brown, and was raised by her father and stepmother, Vivian Brown. She had six sisters and six brothers. She married Larry James Butler, Sr. on September 24, 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and daughters, Mildred Lavon Perugino and Vicky L. Goins.

Gloria enjoyed fishing and loved to go to Farmers Market and garage sales.

She is survived by her children, Kristy (James) Green, Lori (Tony) Perugino and Larry Butler, Jr.; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
