SPRINGFIELD, IL – John Norgaard, Sr., 67, and Gloria J. Norgaard, 69, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at their home.

John was born June 11, 1955, to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Felber) Norgaard. Gloria was born January 17, 1953, to Harold "Ike" and Barbara (Carman) Turner, Jr. John and Gloria were married on March 18, 1977, in Springfield.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Mary Ann Bunch, Donna Weaver and Helen Snyder. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold "Ikee" Turner III.

John was the owner and operator of Norgaard Paint and Body. He enjoyed classic cars and spending time with his son, Johnny. Gloria was employed with Springfield Clinic. Gloria cherished time spent with her family.

They are survived by their son, Johnny; granddaughter, Elizabeth Norgaard; great-grandchildren, Julia, Noah, Jonah and Lilah. John is also survived by siblings, Karen Farley, Larry Norgaard, Marilyn Carnduff (Conrad) and Paul Norgaard (Cathy). Gloria is also survived by her brother, Bill Turner (Theresa).

Private family services were held.
