SPRINGFIELD, IL – Glynn E. Stamper, Jr., 67, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born May 2, 1953 to Glynn and Christine (Elliott) Stamper. He married Vickie L. Rapps on May 29, 1976. His father, Glynn E. Stamper, Sr., preceded him in death.

Glynn was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, was an avid John Wayne fan and collector and was a 20-year friend of Bill W.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; children, Christina L. DeRamus, Alyssa Stamper and Erin Cummings; four grandchildren, Athena Cummings, Nathaniel Cummings, Ares Cummings and Isabelle DeRamus; mother, Christine Stamper; brother, Michael Stamper; sisters, Charlotte Stamper, Barbara Bryan, Sandra Williams and Renee Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held. Inurnment was in Roselawn Memorial Park.
