Obituary

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Harold W. Pruehsner, age 84, passed away on January 17, 2020. He was born in Nashville, Illinois on June 20, 1935.

Harold was a truck driver, security guard, worked in supplies for INB, and Sutton Siding in Springfield, Illinois. He retired as a school bus driver with District 186.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Pruehsner; his brother Leslie Pruehsner, and sister, Norma Giddings-Kessler.

He is survived by three daughters, Terea Nicolai (Sean) in Sun City, Arizona, Sondra Anderson (Curt) in Phoenix, Arizona and Rena Vink (Jack) in Springfield, Illinois; 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild that live from coast to coast.

He was a member of Calvary Church in Springfield for many years. Harold loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and grew daily in His grace. Harold's favorite verse, and a precious promise from the LORD is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

There will be a graveside service held at noon on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Rochester Cemetery, Rochester, Illinois, on West Main St., next to the Rochester Community Park. Jack Vink will officiate the service.
