Harry "Bill" Goacher's Obituary
SPRINGFIELD, IL – Harry "Bill" Goacher passed away peacefully on March 7, 2018, at 5:30 a.m. with his loving family by his side.
He was born December 18, 1937, and married Carol Rowland on June 9, 1962.
He retired from Memorial Medical Center and was a proud US Army Veteran.
In addition to his passion for family, he had a passion for classic cars. He was an original member of the Cool Cruisers.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Guy "Tom" (Rhonda), Gary "Todd", Dawn Canterbury (Jeff) and Billie Jo Goacher; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and his sister, Ruth Holland.
He was cremated according to his wishes.
A Memorial Visitation will be at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
