SPRINGFIELD, IL – Herbert C. Henry, 83, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born in Decatur on January 8, 1936, to Cecil M. and Avis L. (Adams) Henry.
Herb was a US Army veteran. He was a truck driver for ABF. He loved watching The Price is Right and Fox News and was a die-hard Republican.
He is survived by his wife, Valorie Hanshaw; step-children, Jenny (Mikee) Owens and Brandon (Maria) Partridge; five step-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley DeWitt and Barbara Appelt; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
